Sales & Design Consultant
AT FORD & DOONAN MORLEY
Ford & Doonan are seeking an enthusiastic and sales hungry, Sales & Design Consultant to join our team. This role is based in Morley.
How will you contribute?
This role is really important to us!
Are you driven by results? Do you have a history of high performance? We are currently seeking a talented business development professional for Perth.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring profitable, new clients. The role will have a focus on new business across Perth, and will operate autonomously, and be highly results and KPIs focused.
- A track record of success in sales is essential
- If you have experience in air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical or similar industries, it will be an advantage
- You will be provided with warm leads through inbound enquiries and generate referrals through excellent customer experience
- It will also involve some Saturday mornings at our Malaga office and Morley showroom.
- We need you to demonstrate your ability to connect with people and build trust and rapport.

What do you need?
- A “hunter” mentality, with a winning attitude
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- To be accountable, highly-motivated and take responsibility for sales/acquisition in the region – exceed KPI’s, expectations and sales targets
- A strong interest in delivering solutions that deliver customer value
- A positive, “can do” attitude
- 5+ years’ experience in the sales arena with 2-3+ years’ experience selling to homeowners
- The ability to articulate the value proposition, and differentiate our business
- A strong work ethic and self-management skills
- The ability to ask questions, determine and understand your customers’ needs, and qualify effectively
- The ability to take accurate measurements and read/draw floorplans,
- Strong computer literacy and skills (MS Office, CRM),
- We will provide training in SimPro, Plandroid or Polyplan design programs.

Refrigeration Mechanic (air conditioning)

Ford & Doonan are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working refrigeration mechanic (air conditioning) to join our Kardinya Head Office team.
About the role and who WILL succeed in this position
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be proficient at installing DAC’s, Wall Splits, Floor consoles and Cassettes
- Understand the basics of VRV/VRF
- Be highly experienced at AC&R
- Have OHS knowledge and awareness of procedures and processes
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, and staff
Required skills
- Refrigerant Handling License (ARCtick)
- Full Trade Certifications
- WA Restricted Electrical License
- WA manual Drivers licence
- Working at heights, Safety card – both obtained within the past twelve months
- National Police Clearance – obtained within past three months
